About Doorway Composite Door Slabs

Doorway Products Ltd are UK suppliers of 44mm GRP Composite Door Slabs.  Our ‘One Size Fits All’ Composite Door Slab is manufactured 850 mm wide by 2025 mm high. This will fulfill the bulk of door sizes currently offered by the more costly 3 size system the industry has been using for several years.

The secret to the ‘One Size Fits All’ option lies in it’s construction with a 70 mm PVC trimmable edge around the composite door slab.  The slab can be machined down to 720 x 1905 mm leaving 5mm of PVC to protect the internal timber (LVL) slab frame.

The GRP Skin is 2 mm thick and manufactured from through colour GRP while the core is filled with polyurethane  foam to provide insulation.

Available in the traditional 6 Panel, 4 Panel, Blank Top and Cottage styles with a choice of five colours, White, Black, Red, Blue and Green together with Rosewood and Oak stains.  All styles are available as single sided colour on white and double sided colours.  Additionally the composite door slab can be supplied in natural buff ready for painting.

An innovative Stable Door option is also available, the door is supplied in two halves with matching stepped edges which require a simple weather seal to complete the stable door without the need for complex and expensive edge strips.

Industry standard glazing cassettes can be used in all door styles to give complete flexibilty of design and manufacture.  This gives the twin benefits of reducing costs whilst still providing a full range of designs to ensure customer satisfaction.
